Seasearch welcomes experienced divers/snorkellers as volunteers regardless of who they did their dive training with – we welcome suitably-qualified divers from all agencies. To join one of our organised surveys you will need third party insurance for diving and one way of getting that is through membership of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC). You can join them via the BSAC Direct route or through a club/branch.

The Marine Conservation Divers branch has been set up for those who want to get all the benefits of BSAC membership without joining a local club. You only pay a £5 donation to Seasearch as your club subs on top of the reduced (compared to BSAC Direct) branch BSAC fee - you save money compared to joining BSAC directly! 

N.B. We are not a training organisation and do not teach people to dive.
